Ferguson Law Firm Case Study
In the Summer of 2015, Michelle Ferguson called us asking for a meeting. During this meeting, she told us that she had been ‘strongly recommended’ to give DDM a call to help her with a new venture. She and her husband, Paul “Chip” Ferguson had decided to start their own law firm.
Obviously, receiving this call is a great honor. In years previous, Chip had already established himself as “the best damn trial attorney in the state of Texas” according to Walter Umphrey, whose firm Chip was leaving to establish their own firm.
Together we created the firm colors, logo, slogan. Additionally, we have created everything from letterhead, business cards, TV advertising and outdoor campaigns. Over the years, the look and feel of strength and confidence has been established in the Southeast Texas community. Additionally, some of our advertisements for Chip, Michelle and their team won Addy awards.

More importantly, we assist in getting Chip’s and his partner’s resumes to the public and watching the firm grow. Within 3 years their growth caused a need to expand their offices. Most recently, in 2022, we helped them move into their own 55,000 square foot building to meet their needs.
One of the most interesting projects we’ve ever done was when we were asked to produce a simple ‘flyer’. This ‘flyer’ actually turns out to be a 16 page booklet. In addition, this booklet needs to be produced in English and Indonesian. AND it needed to be ready in 1 week. Many long hours were spent collaborating on content, layout and design. Finally, a scant 48 hours later, we were able to send the booklet to print. A short few days later the attorneys boarded a flight to Indonesia to present for relatives of those lost in a large worldwide news event.
In addition to that incredibly fun and challenging project, we also create more ‘everyday’ projects. We continuously produce TV commercials, streaming, social media management, and billboards. We even create a variety of promotional items many of which were hits at the grand opening gala for their new building.
